INSULATING RUBBER MATTING

As Per IEC 61111-2009 Safety Standard

The basic principle behind designing of Electrical Insulating mats also called dielectric carpets is protection of Human & parts of  electronic utilities on electrical Installations. Rubber is a known Natural Dielectric material, Heavy duty Rubber Matting therefore places on Floors around Control Panels, Switch boards, Transformers and other high voltage workplaces which are prone to electric Current.

The following division is based on threshold level of electric current resistance.

4. Tensile Strength                : 50 kg/cm2 (min.)
5. Elongation at Break            : 250% (min.)
6. Compression Set                : 40% (at 27°C for 24 hrs)                             
7. Temp.      Range               : -30 °C to +70 °C.
8. Oil Resistance                    : Satisfactory.
9. Acid Resistance                  : Fair.
